Welcome to Marina Skin Collective. By accessing our website at marinaskin.co.ke or placing an order with us — whether online, via WhatsApp, or Instagram DM — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Marina Skin Collective is a Kenyan skincare retail brand based in Nairobi, Kenya. We sell our own in-house Dreamvibe formulas alongside curated international skincare from K-Beauty, US, and UK brands. We operate online at marinaskin.co.ke and through our social media channels.

2. Eligibility
By placing an order with Marina Skin Collective, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age, or are placing an order with the consent of a parent or guardian
- You are purchasing for personal use or as a gift — not for unauthorised commercial resale
- The information you provide (name, address, phone number, payment details) is accurate and complete
3. Products & Descriptions
We take great care to accurately describe every product on our website. However, please note:
- Product images are as accurate as possible but may vary slightly due to screen display differences and lighting
- For Dreamvibe in-house formulas, colour and texture may vary between batches — this is natural and does not indicate a defect
- Ingredient lists are provided for reference. Always check full ingredient details if you have known allergies before purchasing
- We reserve the right to update product descriptions, pricing, or discontinue products at any time without prior notice
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are listed in Kenya Shillings (KES) and include applicable taxes
- Prices are subject to change without notice — the price at the time of your order will be honoured
- We accept M-Pesa, debit/credit card (via Shopify Payments), bank transfer, and Pesapal
- Orders are confirmed and processed only after full payment is received and verified
- For orders placed via WhatsApp or Instagram DM, payment must be made before dispatch — no exceptions
- Marina Skin Collective reserves the right to cancel any order where payment is not received within 24 hours of confirmation
5. Order Confirmation & Acceptance
Placing an order on our website or via DM does not constitute a binding contract until we have confirmed your order and received payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Product being out of stock after your order is placed
- Pricing errors on our website
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Inability to verify payment
In the case of cancellation, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
6. Skincare Advice & Skin Consultation
Marina Skin Collective offers personalised skincare advice — through our AI Skin Advisor, Instagram DM consultations, and our Build My Routine quiz. Please note:
- Our skin advice is based on general skincare expertise and is for informational purposes only
- We are not dermatologists or licensed medical professionals
- If you have a diagnosed skin condition, severe allergies, or are under medical treatment, please consult a qualified dermatologist before trying new products
- Marina Skin Collective is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from product use. We strongly recommend patch testing every new product
7. Intellectual Property
- All content on marinaskin.co.ke — including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and brand assets — is the intellectual property of Marina Skin Collective and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission
- The Dreamvibe brand and formulas are proprietary to Marina Skin Collective
- You may share our content on social media for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you credit @marinaskincollective
8. User Conduct
When interacting with Marina Skin Collective — online, via DM, or WhatsApp — you agree not to:
- Provide false information when placing orders
- Attempt to fraudulently obtain refunds or replacements
- Use abusive, threatening, or disrespectful language toward our team
- Resell Marina products commercially without our express written consent
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or attempt to replicate our Dreamvibe formulas
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.
9. Privacy & Data
When you place an order, we collect your name, phone number, delivery address, and payment information. This information is used solely to process and deliver your order and to communicate with you about it. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- Order data is processed securely via Shopify's platform
- Payment information is handled by Shopify Payments or M-Pesa — Marina Skin Collective does not store card details
- We may contact you via WhatsApp or email about your order, or with promotional updates if you have opted in
- You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying "STOP" or messaging us directly
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Marina Skin Collective is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products
- Adverse skin reactions resulting from failure to patch test or from pre-existing skin conditions
- Delays in delivery caused by courier services, customs, or circumstances beyond our control
- Errors or omissions on our website that are corrected promptly upon discovery
Our total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the value of the order in question.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from transactions with Marina Skin Collective shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
